Bufet Casanovas continues the path laid down by its founder, the Catalan lawyer and entrepreneur Salvador Casanovas Martí (1927-2012), and his son, the lawyer Pau Casanovas Garcés (1957-1997). Salvador Casanovas was the driving force of several companies in the financial and cultural fields as well as in the agriculture and livestock industry. He was the President of the Spanish National Association of Financial Credit Institutions (ASNEF) during almost three decades, and of Asnef-Equifax, Banca Bafisa, General Electric Capital Bank and the Catalan Enterprises Foundation.
