The Google Tax<\/em><\/strong> has started operating from 16 January<\/strong>, a tax levied on activity carried out in Spain by companies for services such as digital advertising or big data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also includes companies that provide services related to the provision of services such as the inclusion of advertising aimed at users, the provision of multifaceted digital interfaces that allow their users to locate other users and interact with them, such as social media and data transmission services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tax will affect companies with a turnover of more than 750 million euros and have more than 3 million in income from taxable activities, so \u201cpimes\u201d will not be affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically, the tax will account for 3% to these companies on revenue from online advertising services, online brokerage and data transmission.
